As an audiobook narrator, I find Organized Authors to be an invaluable tool during recording. Everything I need is all in one place. I can find my voice samples in the character files, along with name pronunciations from the author. All making my process much smoother than it otherwise is. It’s especially great with multiple books in a series where cross-checking voice samples can be tedious. I’m loving this site! Organized Authors has proven to be a very useful tool that's well designed and easy to use. I was able to move seamlessly within the Series Bible, Book Plotter and Character Guide as I work on each manuscript. Any random tidbits of information that are important to the story are easily "jotted down" within the app rather than written longhand and stashed in a physical folder and then put in a drawer to be pulled out later. After several months of using OA, my favorite function is the "Speech-to-Text" in Editor. On a high word count day, this tool is a savior for me, and my hands/wrists. With ten published books on my backlist, I'm excited to be working on a new series with the support I get with Organized Authors.

When I first heard of Organized Authors, I was intrigued. The idea of a one-stop place for all author information was too much of a temptation to pass up! As a ten-year published author of over ninety books, I immediately asked to be part of the Beta for the program. I’m so glad I did! The creators walked me through the various aspects of what OA can do for me, and then I spent time learning everything I could. The customer support was phenomenal—they were genuinely interested in what I had to say and any suggestions I made.

OA offers a multitude of ways for me to organize my books, series, characters, plots, and so much more. But what’s nice is that I can use the only things that are most important to me. It is completely customizable. With such a large backlist, it helps to have a quick place to see my book covers, characters, allows me to use pictures for characters (both main and secondary), and blurbs/keywords/tropes all in one place. I had documents in a variety of places, and OA allows me to find the information easily. I especially love the character guide and was able to download a long list from a spreadsheet into OA, making it easy to transition into this program. For those who plot, it offers a way to organize the overall plots, individual scenes, and chapters. If an author doesn’t plot, then they don’t have to use this feature but can utilize the parts of the program that work for them.

I am able to keep my author bio and information here, as well as book information. There is so much Organized Authors offers that I am still discovering new ways to use the program. But for someone who had their author “life” in a multitude of programs, spreadsheets, files, and documents saved to a variety of places, Organized Authors truly help me stay organized!
